Terms & Conditions

Claire Andrews Dance Academy (CADA) – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all students and parents/guardians (“you”) enrolled at Claire Andrews Dance Academy (“CADA”, “we”, “us”).

By enrolling in any CADA class, workshop, or activity, you agree to the following:

1. Classes & Schedule

  • CADA operates for 36 teaching weeks per year, which are spread across 11 calendar months.
  • We reserve the right to amend the timetable, teacher, or class format if necessary. Any changes will be communicated promptly.

2. Monthly Subscriptions & Payments

  • Tuition fees are collected by monthly subscription to cover the full 36-week year.
  • The annual cost is divided into 11 equal monthly payments, due on the 1st of each month.
  • Late or failed payments may result in a late fee and/or suspension of classes until payment is received.

3. Cancellations & Notice

  • To cancel a class subscription, you must email CADA by the 15th of any month to provide your month’s notice.
  • Your next monthly payment (taken on the 1st of the following month) will be your final payment, and classes may be attended until the end of that following month.
  • Example: if notice is emailed on 15th March, the April payment will be your last, and classes may be attended until 30th April.
  • Notices received after the 15th will be treated as notice for the next calendar month.
  • Fees remain payable during the notice period, even if the student does not attend.
  • No refunds, credits, or transfers will be given for missed classes, absence due to illness, holidays, or personal commitments.

4. Dance Camps & Workshops

  • All bookings for dance camps, workshops, or special events are non-refundable and non-transferable.

5. Private Lessons

  • Private classes are charged per term to secure your slot for the entire term.
  • Payment is required in advance and is non-refundable once the term has begun.
  • Missed lessons cannot be carried forward or refunded.

6. Attendance & Conduct

  • Students are expected to arrive on time, in correct uniform, and ready to participate.
  • CADA reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate enrolment for repeated disruptive behaviour or non-compliance with these Terms.

7. Health & Safety

  • Please inform us of any medical conditions or injuries prior to enrolment.
  • Participation is at the student’s own risk, and CADA is not responsible for injuries sustained during classes, provided proper supervision and instruction have been given.

8. Photography & Media

  • From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes.
  • Please notify us in writing if you do not consent to your child being photographed or filmed.

9. Liability

  • CADA is not liable for loss or damage to personal property while on the premises.
  • We strongly recommend that all belongings are clearly labelled.

10. Safeguarding

  • CADA is committed to providing a safe environment for all students and follows appropriate safeguarding policies and procedures.

11. Force Majeure

  • In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g., government restrictions, extreme weather, venue closure), classes may be moved online or rescheduled. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
